ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES
Wednesday AM HIKE | Eagle Crags
(7 miles | 1300 ft. Elevation)
This 7.0-mile out-and-back trail is generally considered a challenging route and takes an average of 3 h 20 min to complete. This is a popular trail for birding and hiking, and expect to see great views of Zion on the way up + fun rocky overlooks
NOTE: no lavatory facilities will be available on the hike, we will review “leave no trace” best practices pre-hike
AFTERNOON ADVENTURE | E-Bike the Park
Experience all the beauty and wonder of Zion Canyon with the ability to cruise the entire scenic route on an efficient pedal assist eBikes. This incredible option allows you experience Zion on your own schedule (without an environmental impact)
Stop along the way and hike, explore the river and epic lookout points.
We recommend checking out:
Emeralds Pools Hike: a striking desert oasis directly across from the Historic Zion Lodge. This trail follows a small, verdant stream that collects in a series of "pools."
Temple of Sinawava: a massive amphitheater that unofficially marks the beginning of the canyon.
IMPORTANT: Please read and sign your E-Bike Waiver by Tuesday, August 15 and watch the E-Bike Orientation video for safety tips and to get the most out of your experience!
THURSDAY AM HIKE | CANYON OVERLOOK
(1 MILE ROUND TRIP - EASY TO MODERATE)
The Canyon Overlook Trail is a gem of a hike in Zion National Park. It’s short, it’s fun, and it takes you to an incredible viewpoint overlooking Zion Canyon. This is a hike that is perfect for all ability levels.
You will gain some elevation immediately, climbing the steps that take you from Highway 9 up onto the trail, after that it is a mostly flat hike out to the viewpoint.
The trail is carved out of the sandstone walls, so for part of the hike, a giant, stonewall will be on one side of you and to the other side you will have views into the Pine Creek Narrows. At several of the more exposed sections there are railings for safety.
Expect 1 hour start to finish.
NOTE: no lavatory facilities will be available on the hike, we will review “leave no trace” best practices pre-hike
